BELAR DSD-1 DIGITAL STEREO DECODER
The Belar DSD-1 is a precision FM stereo decoder. It produces 48 kHz AES/EBU digital stereo audio by digitally demodulating analog stereo composite signals. (If balanced analog audio is also required, see the DSD-1A)
The DSD-1 features two front-panel peak level indicators to maintain constant transmission levels. The user adjustable ACTIVITY LED monitors composite activity, while the fixed OVERLOAD LED warns of possible overload.
The DSD-1A is suitable for applications that require a digital stereo signal. Such applications include: obtaining a digital input for use with digital FM exciters, obtaining digital audio for digital transmission of house monitors, etc.
